Jesus sees a woman who had been bent over for eighteen years and calls her forward: “Woman, you are set free of your infirmity.” Instantly, she stands tall and glorifies God. But the leaders complain because it happened on the Sabbath. Today's Gospel reminds us: - Jesus’ mercy is not bound by time or rules. - No burden is too heavy for Him to lift. - When Christ sets us free, our response is always praise.
