CAPTION
There are 46 days from Ash Wednesday to Holy Saturday - but we speak of 40 days of Lent because the six Sundays aren’t counted as fasting days. Every Sunday is a celebration of the Resurrection. Lent = 40 days of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving as we journey with Christ.
