In today’s Gospel (Mark 1:29–39), we see Jesus heal, retreat to pray, and then continue His mission. He touches the sick, withdraws to pray in solitude, and boldly proclaims the Kingdom. It’s a powerful rhythm for us, too: Serve with compassion. Step away to pray. Go out again on mission.
