Today we honor St. Luke, the beloved physician, companion of St. Paul, and author of both the Gospel of Luke and the Acts of the Apostles. One of the most beloved verses from his Gospel reminds us of the joy and honor given to Mary: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.” Luke 1:42 St. Luke, pray for us!
